Les créations de la Maison – Grupo La Madrid, presented its new collections including “From black to white”. Black and white are the starting point for making fine combinations of color, natural tones, gray, beige, ecru. The intention of the creators was to pay homage to black and white by tracing a path inspired by the art world, comics, music and cinema.
And here comes the inspiration from Andy Warhol’s art and his black and white serigraphs of the famous Campbell’s soup jars; From Charlie Chaplin’s cinema with The Kid – The Monello, her first work as well as a mute movie masterpiece; From the graphic novel “Persepolis” by Majane Satrapi and finally the music could certainly not miss the success of “Black or White” by Michael Jackson.
The “From black to white” collection offers eclectic designs with abstract, small geometric motifs and rich smooth fabrics. A wide range of fabrics including velvet, chenille and Jacquard.
